Example 2: In the following command sequence, adb devices displays the list of devices because the adb server was started first. So when no emulators are running and no devices are paired tns device will output empty list, since there are no currently running devices. And once you have at least one running emulator/device it will return a list with it. Hope this clears out a bit how the command was intended to work.

Step 2: Debug content on your Android device from your development machine
More actions: reload, focus, or close a tab
Click More Options next to thetab that you want to reload, focus, or close.
Inspect elements
Go to the Elements panel of your DevTools instance, and hover over anelement to highlight it in the viewport of your Android device.
You can also tap an element on your Android device screen to select it in theElements panel. Click Select Element on your DevTools instance, and then tapthe element on your Android device screen. Note that Select Elementis disabled after the first touch, so you need to re-enable it every timeyou want to use this feature.
